Lennon doesn't argue with Hunter but even Hunter has contradicted that before with Lennon. He closes his eyes and he doesn't know what Hunter is doing, how he's doing it. There's moments of feeling loss, something missing and then a heaviness lifting off of him.
But when it's done, he doesn't really remember what just happened, like he'd lost time.
