Hunter listens to the tiny cheerleader just a few feet away and he nods before pressing a quick kiss to Daeshims lips.
“I don’t care if you have to come over here to be comfortable eating everything you want. You are not going to adapt his habits when it comes to food,” he looks pointedly at Lavender, “and neither are you. You can eat your ice cream now.”
He finally moves away to finish up his pickle making, satisfied that he was heard, because he knows he was. And he feels his insides calm again.
“Be fae. Eat your cupcakes and do all the things humans find odd. This is your home.” He means the Ruinwood…but maybe he means other things, too. “This includes being naked if you want to be naked.”
